Happy Easter

Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter, if you are on your own or with friends or family. Easter is a time for reflection on the meaning of rebirth and resurrection, after the crucifixion of Christ.Today a lot of people will be attending a Church service. I as usual will listen to Songs of Praise, as I always do, and probably listen to The Archers radio programme where they usually have an easter service on Lakey hill.
For Christians all over the World this is one of the most important days on the Christian Calendar, with Church attendances. For others it is the fun and joy of Easter egg hunts, lots of chocolate, and time off from work for an Easter break. However you spend it may it be a Happy time. I made a decoration for my front room with some forsythia from the garden, easter bunnies, and an Easter basket.

Eggs were delivered to all of the family, to enjoy on Easter morning, of course they may have demolished them as soon as we disappeared.

There was an Easter gift for my grandson Owen who loves cats, and has two cats one called keo the other Sox, and as he loved this printed fabric with all the cats on it, I made him a cushion for his bed, he loved this, so I was pleased.

Of course you cannot give one with out giving to the others in the household, so a pink bunny for Jenny, a blue bunny for martin, a yellow and green bunny for Owen and a duck for Laura.

I intend to have a nice leisurely day today, plenty of tea, a bit of chocolate egg, Tv, a sing along to songs of praise at teatime and the Tv tonight, with bits of crochet or sewing and a natter on the phone, my day is going to be peaceful, just like Easter should be a Happy, Peaceful time.
