Just a few random photos of flowers and trees in bloom on the way to the park with my grandson owen. How lovely after a long winter and this weeks last icy blast of winter with some snow, after last weeks warm temperatures to see the flowers and trees greening up.
Spring blossom on the trees by the river as I walked and owen rode his bike to the park.
The grasses were still, but lovely, underneath springs new carpet of grasses lie waiting to grow.
Nearly at the park, the willows are blooming well this year and have been out for ages, note the unsightly bin!
Here we are at the park, and on the slide enjoying how many ways you can climb up it and get down it.
On the way back and this flowering currant bush was bright with its beautiful pink flowers.
My wonderful adorable grandson poses for Grandma to have his piccy taken though he would rather be off on his bike.
And we are back to my place, this pot of flowers has bloomed every month since it was planted up in september, from heathers to euonymus, grasses, cyclamen, primroses, and now because I underplanted with bulbs a fine show of double daffodills. Time for a cuppa tea, its hard work trying to keep up with a 6 year old.
