I based our dinner tonight around a recipe by Nigel slater, it was yummy. I bought the puff pastry, made the herb butter, de skinned the salmon and spread with the butter, sealed the bottom half of the pastry with egg wash, put on a top layer of pastry, crimped it together, egg washed the top and baked in a pre heated oven for 20 mins at 200. et voila!
Dinner is served... The recipe is a free download Nigel slaters salmon en croute....delicious.
Fresh from the oven, ok not the same shape but they tasted just the same, not going for perfection.
Now doesnt that look nice, all plated up and ready to be eaten, I just love Nigel Slater.
