The Cotswolds & stratford on Avon

We travelled down to the cotswolds  and stopped off to see the old mill at lower slaughter, well worth it.
We visited the motor museum in Bourton on the water, from vintage rolls royces, old 1930s caravans up to 1970s cars, our first car was in there, not the original but the same as, obviously we are vintage ourselves now too.!

This is the motor museum

Ah now this is the cutest little cottage we found on our walk along the banks of the river windrush.

The Cotswolds again, this time at Bibury, me by the side of a row of weavers cottages, beautiful.
Gary rather fancied this hotel at Bibury called The Swan, its on here in case we should ever want to stay there.
Bibury again, looking towards The Swan.

Now we have travelled further south to Burford, a quaint but very busy place, nice shops and Church.
Back up on the fosse way back through Stow on the Wold to Stratford on Avon, this is the viewing tower attached to the RSC.
Bancroft gardens and shops, where we had a picnic.

We went into the Royal Shakespeare theatre, into the foyer where a lovely display of clothes from performances were on show.

This church stands by the hotel we usually stay in, on a lovely summers evening, so warm we sat outside one or two pubs, theres a suprise. Us and Pubs
This is one of our favourites, outside the most haunted of pubs The Old Thatch, tiny courtyard garden, a must see and do item on our list is to go here. We had a great time, the Cotswolds were everything I hoped for, lovely time.
