Picnic and chat
Sunday in staffordshire, a nice sunday walk out to see lots of canal boats,at the marina.
One  boat was called fat albert, which made mwe laugh, apparently it is what the greeks called hercules!! we enjoyed a impromptu picnic, nectarines, iced tea with mango, crisps followed by cups of tea and almond biscuit good afternoon out, a visit to Aston Marina near sone in staffs. We had tea sitting on the jetty overlooking the marina, my but the cost of the tea is dear there, we will be cheapskates and take a flask next time. sitting on the jetty overlooking the marina.
My new DIL laura, son and DH , went to Salt after this, walking past the pretty Holly Bush Inn, and then across the fields to view the cottages around the area called tinkerborough, long vanished, only traces remain. These cottages are further up accessed to by brick kiln lane. They were th eprettiest cottages and views. What a good time we all had, just before it chucked it down with rain.
